What are the benefits of a content subscription as oppose to a once-off shoot?

There are many benefits when it comes to investing in a content subscription package as oppose to a once-off shoot, from overall cost savings (especially if you think you’re going to need more content down the track) to the flexibility and convenience in how you utilise the allocated shoot time.  

I’ve found that clients often cycle through images from their shoots quite quickly, or end up recycling the same content over and over. Having a bank of beautiful photos and/or videos that evolve with your business is so important if you are wanting to stay relevant and top of mind.

But perhaps the most valuable part is that when we work together on monthly or seasonal basis, there’s a shared understanding of your brand, preferences and goals over time - resulting in a consistent look and feel across your platforms and strategic content.

What type of photos do you take at a shoot?

This is something we’ll discuss in your 1:1 content strategy, and I will also ask you to complete a shot list ahead of the shoot. However, some examples include: your space/location, portraits, products and service offerings.

What type of videos do you take at a shoot?

The videos we capture as part of the subscription package are created for social media in a 9:16 ratio and between 7-30 seconds in length and are delivered without text or music so you can add these to fit your needs. We’ll decide on the exact content as part of the 1:1 content strategy, however, some examples include:

  • Virtual tours

  • Tutorials and demonstrations

  • Meeting staff

  • Product highlights and features

  • Behind-the-scenes

  • Promotions and special offers

How long are the shoots?

Shoot time varies with each package, but is between 1-2 hours.

Do I need to based in Geelong?

No you don’t! For onsite shoots, there is a fee involved outside of a 50km radius of Geelong to cover the cost of travel, so if this applies to you please let me know and I can provide costs.

Can we shoot in a studio?

Absolutely! Let me know if this is something you would be interested in and I can provide some suggestions for locations, as well as estimated costs of studio hire.

Are models and props included?

While models and props aren't provided in your shoot package, arrangements can be made. We address this during the briefing phase, so please communicate your needs upfront.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Oh I’d hate to see you go! But yes, if you need to cancel your subscription you can - however only after the minimum term agreement has been completed.

How do I schedule a shoot?

You’ll receive a link via email to book your shoot via my calendar system.

How do I pay for a shoot subscription?

When you sign up for a subscription package, you will be prompted to provide credit card details, from which a recurring payment will be made as outlined in your chosen package. You can update your card details at any time.

What happens if we don’t want to have a shoot every month, can we spread them out over the year?

To allow for other shoots and the needs of many clients, there is only a limited number of shoot slots each month/season. To ensure that everything ticks along smoothly, you do need to book as per your package description (e.g monthly or seasonally.) So, unfortunately there are no ‘rollovers’ for shoots into the next month or season.
